Horse Training and Horseback Riding Instruction

WELCOME TO MY  HORSE WORLD!
My world is the region of Cuyahoga County and the surrounding communities, all of which have a very long and rich horse history.

I was lucky enough to have a horse trainer and riding instructor as a mother. I was practically raised in a barn!  I also was lucky enough to ride with some of the real "old timers" who trained locally.  As a result, I have a cumulative knowledge and experience of the horse business dating back to the 1950s.

In my life, I've learned how to teach and train in the era of Lakewood Stables & Sonny Walters, Fran Bibbs and Michael Von Der Nonne; Parker's Ranch & Adele Von Ohl Parker; and Red Raider Stables. And what a wild ride it was!

Most of these colorful and interesting local horsemen and horsewomen are gone now.  However, I am carrying on the tradition of the Northeastern Ohio men and women who love horses, and love teaching people how to ride.

I feel very privileged to have been involved in the horse industry in our area during the past 50 years!

In the fall of 2006, I started teaching lessons at Equine Differences.  I teach private and semi private lessons, plus I am a guest instructor to the Oberlin College Equestrian Team. This is a great opportunity for me to work with college students and to try and help improve the team!

Plus, in 2007, I began to teach lessons at Dream On Farm, in Columbia Station. This is another beautiful newer stable in the area, and I just love teaching there!
